Use Siri to search and write journal entries

Section titled “Use Siri to search and write journal entries”
  • Say “Search my journal in Clearful” to find entries by voice.
  • Say “New entry in Clearful” to start writing without opening the app first.
  • Say “Open my journal in Clearful” or “Open my collections in Clearful” to go straight to either screen.
  • Clearful’s actions now appear in the Shortcuts app on their own, with no setup.

Edit and delete journal entries with Siri

Section titled “Edit and delete journal entries with Siri”
  • Ask Siri to change an entry’s title, text, or date without opening the app.
  • An edit changes only what you asked for and leaves the rest of the entry as it was.
  • Ask Siri to delete an entry and see which one it means before it goes.

Keep Siri out of a locked journal

Section titled “Keep Siri out of a locked journal”
  • Stop Siri reading, searching, editing or deleting entries while your journal is locked behind Face ID or a passcode.
  • Say what is actually wrong when it refuses, instead of suggesting you wait and try again.
  • Dictating a new entry still works while locked, since it only adds what you just said.
