Create or convert an account

You can begin using Clearful as a guest, but creating an account lets you sign in again and keep your entries connected to you across supported devices.

Create your account

1. Open Settings in Clearful.
2. Under Account Info, choose Create Your Account.
3. Sign up with one of the options shown on your device, such as email, Apple, or Google.

If you have already written as a guest, use this in-app account flow instead of starting over. Clearful will ask whether you want to save your guest entries to the account.

Keep guest entries safe

Leave Clearful open while the account is being created and confirm that your entries appear after sign-in. If Clearful cannot move them safely, it preserves the guest account and shows a recovery reference rather than deleting the original entries.

If you need help, contact Clearful Support and include that recovery reference. Never send the text of private journal entries.
